Mirabello Port

Porto Mirabello is right at the heart of the Gulf of La Spezia, holding one of the most protected positions of Europe.

It is shielded by the Tino and Palmaria islands and by a breakwater, allowing boats to sail safely for about 300 days a year. Porto Mirabello is the ideal environment for superyachts, boasting a context of exquisite level and being close to many places of great historical and natural value, such as Lerici, Portovenere, Cinque Terre and Portofino. Its strategic position, located in the upper part of the Tyrrhenian Sea, makes it a suitable departure point to sail towards prestigious destinations, like Monte Carlo, Corsica, Elba Island, the island of Capri, the Amalfi Coast, or charming Porto Cervo in Sardinia. It is the result of an innovative project, offering its guests excellent services, cutting-edge solutions, adequate spaces, maximum accessibility, and a perfect climate with a soft breeze, particularly ideal if you wish to explore the area on a sailing boat.

In addition to that, it ensures comfort, maximum attention to yachting, tranquility, and a variety of options for your free time.

Porto Mirabello was opened in September 2010. Let’s have a look at its past: the reclamation works for this area started in September 2007 and the construction of the docks began in October 2008. The first berths were assigned in June 2009, whereas the final land facilities were completed in 2010.

This Port is a unique example in Italy of yacht basin within a city and extending entirely on the sea: an artificial peninsula covering 40,000 square meters and a body of water covering another 270,000 square meters, keeping the coast intact and enhancing the nautical focus of the place where it is located.

Among the many services rendered by this tourist port, there is also a Shipyard to safekeep and manage yachts and superyachts.

Professionalism and trustworthiness are key values for Porto Mirabello, which has always paid careful attention to the market and its developments, with particular emphasis on its guests.
