The Farm in the City
Program:
Workshops organized by the social cooperative Coopselios, Carpanedo Farm, and the social cooperative COCEA-Bioasilo del Carpanedo:
- 10:00 AM-12:00 PM and 3:00 PM-5:00 PM - "Takeaway": for children aged 3 and up. We plant a seedling in a pot and take care of it, bringing it with us.
- 10:00 AM-11:00 AM and 3:00 PM-4:00 PM - "Roots, what's underground?": Draw a tree with its roots using materials found in nature and recycling. For children aged 3 and up.
- 10:00 AM-6:00 PM - "Nature in the Square": Free space suitable for children of all ages to have fun and manipulate materials found in nature.
- 10:00 AM-6:00 PM - "Coloring in the Square": Free space suitable for children of all ages to express their imagination in colors.
Workshops organized by the Civic Museums from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM:
- Amedeo Lia Museum - "The Garden in a Frame": Choose, transform, and frame a vegetable to make it the protagonist of a work of art with an unmistakable flavor!
- Archaeological Museum of Castello S. Giorgio - "The First Bread": Have fun grinding cereals using a mill and a stone grinder as in the Neolithic!
- Ethnographic Museum Giovanni Podenzana - "The Art of Croxetto": Knead the flour to create sheets that we will decorate with traditional molds from our territory.
- Seal Museum - "Augusto's Snack": Reproduce Roman bread rolls by mixing flour, seeds, and pieces of dried fruit and baking them in the oven after decorating them with the image of the Medusa.
- CAMeC - "Autumn Colors": This season offers the spectacle of countless colors and shades to inspire compositions on the theme.
Workshops and tastings:
There is a tasting/workshop area with the presentation of products by the Association Tipico del Parco by Emanuela Zannoni. Tastings are free and by reservation at +39 349.0942482.
- From 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM: The mysterious and fascinating world of bees by Ape Bea Apicoltura by La Malfa Giovanni - La Spezia, in combination with raw cow's milk cheeses from Agriturismo "Il Filo di Paglia" Carro (SP) accompanied by exceptional DOC wines from the 5 Terre.
- From 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM: The olive oil workshop with tasting conducted by the expert Valeria Federici and presentation of the project "Sentieri dei Poeti" by Soc. Agr. La Cappuccina.
- From 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM:
- The workshop with bites of goodness presented by Az. Il Sicomoro (SP) with tasting of jams and pickled vegetables.
- How a jam is born from the Campo Luente Farm (SP).
- From 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM: Show Cooking Croxetti di Varese Ligure with black cabbage pesto by agrichef Giorgio Nadali of Agriturismo "La Fogona" in Carrodano (SP).
- From 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM:
- Workshop with tasting of vegetable cakes by Agriturismo La Lupa - Vezzano Ligure (SP).
- Panzerotti of Vezzano Ligure, the famous Christmas Eve dish, by Agriturismo Il Fienile - Arcola (SP).
- La Scarpazza of Sarzana is a beautiful story of a savory cake by Agriturismo Casalin- Sarzana (SP).
- From 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM: "A Sweet Tale" tasting of delicacies offered by Agriturismo Mamma Chica - Cozzano (SP).
- From 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM: The King of Cheeses "Parmigiano Reggiano di Montagna" pure tasting of two ages 24 months and 50 months from the Latteria Soc. Carnola di Castelnovo ne' Monti (RE).
- From 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM: Tasting of two Spergole in comparison, natural wines from the hills of Reggio Emilia by Soc. Agr. Monte Duro di Sassi Matteo and David, Organic Farm of Montalto - Vezzano Sul Crostolo (RE).
The much-anticipated baptism of the saddle by the Centro Ippico Sarzanese will be renewed, and children will have the opportunity to take a ride on the pony. There will also be an exhibition of vintage agricultural vehicles by the Gruppo Trebbiatori della Val di Magra. Participation in all workshops is free, and reservations are made on-site.
