Exhibition Blu-Blue - Works from the CAMeC Collection

The exhibition consists of 37 works from the civic collections, all united by the prevalence of the color blue and is displayed in 3 rooms on the second floor of the CAMeC.
The first room features various representations of the seascape, where the collective gaze and imagination commonly encounter the blue of the sky and the sea.
The second room showcases paintings with different thematic options, where the emancipation of color and the free definition of the chromatic fabric beyond its local significance prevail: it's the intentional dominance of blue that characterizes each subject.
The third room offers further variations, which can be attributed to very different research intentions, from the Surrealist vision of Magritte and Max Ernst to pure abstraction and the minimalist exaltation of color as a mental image.
