Spetialis - Fighting in the Park at the Castello San Giorgio Museum

After the illustration of their faithfully reproduced weapons and equipment, Genoese infantrymen, knights and soldiers will face each other in duels and clashes of arms to recall the battle between Oberto Doria and Nicolò Fieschi who had settled in La Spezia, creating a lordship and building the first phase of the Castrum Spediae on the Poggio hill. During the battle of 1273 the Genoese forces led by Oberto Doria and Oberto Spinola attacked and destroyed the Castrum and determined the fall of Fieschi and the advent of Genoese domination
