Free guided tour of the "Mazzini" Library and dialectal performance "GAMIN – Ubaldo Mazzini, a poet, a city Bela l’è bela, la la veda ‘n guerso
A free guided tour will be conducted at the Civic Library “U. Mazzini” (corso Cavour, 251) and at the exhibition “Ubaldo Mazzini historian and librarian: documentary exhibition for the centenary of his passing 1923-2023” currently on display inside the library. Following this, the performance “GAMIN - Ubaldo Mazzini, a poet, a city. Bela l’è bela, la la veda ‘n guerso” will take place.
In this vernacular recital, Mazzini's dialectal poetry will be briefly explained, with a particular emphasis on words and expressions that have fallen out of use in today's speech. The author's most and least known poems will be recited and set to music, sometimes sung, if necessary with a translation in Italian. The recital is by: Pier Giorgio Cavallini, reciting voice in dialect, Beppe Mecconi, reciting voice, Egildo Simeone, singing voice, guitar, percussion, winds, Livio Bernardini, singing voice, accordion, keyboard.
