La Spezia Estate Festival - Valerio Aprea in "ASPETTANDO L’APOCALISSE"

A reading written for the actor by Marco Dambrosio. From science to Fantacitorio, from algorithms to habits, from bureaucracy to progress and the inertia that holds it back, all the way to artificial intelligence. How irony and the absurd can be used as tools to tackle the theme of change. A journey that spans very different social and cultural conditions, offering a entertaining and original perspective on our resistance and difficult adaptability to the new. Valerio Aprea is a versatile actor with a highly distinctive style, seen both on stage and in some of the most important Italian TV and film productions of recent years. Starting from the role of a "screenwriter" in the cult series "Boris" and in the subsequent film by the Torre-Ciarrapico-Vendruscolo trio. Also, the role of a Latin scholar in the film saga "I Can Quit Whenever I Want" by Sydney Sibilia, which earned him a nomination for the 2014 David di Donatello Awards. Since 2020, he has been part of the cast of "Propaganda Live" on La7 with his highly followed monologues, initially written by Mattia Torre and later by Marco Dambrosio, also known as Makkox. Since 2021, he has been one of the main characters in the Sky Original TV series "Everybody's Fine at Home" by Gabriele Muccino, which earned him a nomination for the 2022 Nastri d'Argento Awards.
