St Joseph's Fair

On the stalls which are set up in the Public Gardens, the adjacent streets, and along the sea front, you can find all types of wares. Stalls for food specialities, tools, toys and clothes colour this popular fair.

For three days the town lives for the fair of its patron saint, and it is hard to find a citizen of La Spezia who has not found a bit of time to wander around the curiosities of this rich market. The festival has become a public meeting-place and an increasingly important event.
In fact in the last few years, fringe events have been organised, like the White Night.
