Nina Zilli is a whirlwind, a volcano, a music lover who captivates you with her passions and fantasies before you even have time to listen to one of her songs. Nina, who comes from a small village in Val Trebbia that she left early for Ireland, the United States, wherever her dreams and fantasies led her. Nina, who started with 70s music to gradually reach her perfect music: Motown, Stax R&B, soul, early 60s pop rock, combined with Italian loves like Mina and Celentano, and Jamaica that makes her heart beat faster. Reggae, rocksteady, ska: when she talks about Alton Ellis, Phyllis Dillon, and the Skatalites, her voice changes tone, becoming tender and eager at the same time.
