The Art of Traveling. Italy and the Grand Tour

Visitors will immerse themselves in the experience of the grand educational journey that, between the 18th and 19th centuries, involved reaching memory-laden places to engage with the past and find refreshment for the soul and body. The Lia collection is in dialogue with nearly fifty other extraordinary works on loan from all over Italy, including from the National Gallery of Ancient Art at Palazzo Barberini in Rome, the Civic Museums of Padua, the Museum of Rome, and the Art Collection of the Cariplo Foundation.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Friday, June 14 at 5:30 PM and will be open to the public from June 15 to October 27, 2024.
