Imago. Faces of Ancient Romans

“Imago. Faces of Ancient Romans,” a temporary exhibition that is a true historical and artistic journey into the evolution of Roman portraiture, from the late Republican era to the 3rd century AD. It allows an in-depth exploration of the flourishing artistic production of Roman portraiture and the marble sculpting techniques used at the time.

The collaboration with the National Archaeological Museum and the Archaeological Park of Luni, as well as the dialogue and cooperation with other city museums and, in this case, with the "A. Lia" Museum, aims to offer the public greater accessibility to the artistic treasures of the City of La Spezia and to enhance the overall cultural heritage of the region.
