Libriamoci Primavera
Libriamoci is an event that reflects Italo Calvino's idea of lightness, not intended as superficiality but as a way to glide above things from above, without burdens on the heart. Therefore, the promotion of reading remains the undisputed foundation of the event, which sees books and dialogue with writers as opportunities for profound reflection but also great lightness.
In 2024, Libriamoci will be divided into three main moments: "Libriamoci Primavera" with three days of great authors in May; "Libriamoci Gulf Authors" with a summer season dedicated to local authors, and "Libriamoci. Read Everywhere, Read Anyway 14th edition" as tradition in the autumn period in November with a week full of events.

- Friday, May 17, 2024:
- 5:30 PM - Province Hall of La Spezia: Inauguration of "Preview of Libriamoci 2024 – 14th edition". Institutional greetings by the Mayor of La Spezia Pierluigi Peracchini; presentation by Alessandro Maggi of the Libriamoci 2024 program.
- 6:00 PM - Province Hall of La Spezia: Lectio Magistralis by Giovanni Solimine, "Exercises in future reading".
- 7:00 PM - Province Hall of La Spezia: Raffaella Romagnolo presents "Il cedro del Libano", Aboca Edizioni. Dialogue with the author Antonio Riccardi, editorial director of Aboca Edizioni.
- Followed by a literary aperitif.
- 9:00 PM - Civic Theater of La Spezia: Mario Tozzi and Lorenzo Baglioni, "I don't believe in climate anymore".
- Saturday, May 18, 2024:
- 10:30 AM – Civic Library "P. M. Beghi": "What a spectacle reading is – Sea stories", educational workshop for children by Dario Apicella. Recommended for children aged 0 to 6. The workshop lasts about an hour and a half. Event in collaboration with the Nati per Leggere Association.
- 10:30 AM – Cycling Museum "A. Cuffini": Massimo Calandri presents "Non puoi fidarti di gente così", Mondadori editions. Dialogue with the author Luca Natale.
- 5:30 PM - Ligurian Regional Media Library “S. Fregoso”: Federica Iacobelli presents the "I Gabbiani" series by Edizioni Primavera and dialogues with Alessandro Berti, author of the book "Le vacanze", Edizioni Primavera.
- Launch of the writing prize "The Future" aimed at schools of all levels.
- 6:30 PM – Ligurian Regional Media Library “S. Fregoso”: Alessandra Sarchi presents "Il ritorno è lontano", Bompiani Publisher. Dialogue with the author Debora Lambruschini.

- 9:00 PM – Odeon Cinema, Ligurian Regional Media Library “S. Fregoso”: "My poems won't change the world", an intimate, ironic, and free cinematic portrait of Patrizia Cavalli.

- 7:00 PM – Ligurian Regional Media Library “S. Fregoso”: Lectio Magistralis by Alessio Torino, "Tribute to Paolo Volponi on the centenary of his birth".
