Colle del Telegrafo - Sella La Croce circular route

This circular route begins at the Colle del Telegrafo (Telegraph Hill, 513 m above sea level) and you will walk this route counterclockwise. Take the trail AV5T (Alta Via delle 5 Terre, High Route of the 5 Terre) in direction of Foce del Termine and you will walk uphill until the fork to Bramapane. This climb progressively becomes less and less steep, as the first part is the steepest one. In addition to that, this trail is not really wide, but you will easily walk on it. 

From Bramapane, you will take a wide unpaved road, followed by a slight slope and some uphill and downhill stretches, until the fork to La Croce. Here, you will leave the unpaved road and the trail AV5T and take trail 530 on the left, named la “Strada dei Santuari” (the Sanctuary route), which is pretty wide and under the shade of the trees (thus it does not get too hot also during summer). You will take it going on the left in direction of Telegrafo. For the next few kilometers, you will walk on a slight slope and then you will find the climb up to the Colle del Telegrafo. After a couple of sharp bends, the road becomes paved for the whole stretch uphill.
