Elementary School

This project by Manilo Costa, approved by the Municipality of La Spezia in 1933, envisaged some more articulated solutions. The main façade is covered in grey stones from the quarries of Caporacca and part of it has exposed bricks. This school complex was opened on 17 May, 1940, in the presence of the Ministry of Education of that time, Giuseppe Bottai. In 1949, during the maintenance work, another floor was added to the building.
