Futurist itinerary
This itinerary takes place outdoors and focus on the Piazza Verdi area and on the Palazzo delle Poste (Main Post Office Building). The city of La Spezia, in the early decades of the 20th century, represented a perfect ideal of transforming landscape, deeply admired and sought after by futurists. Seaplanes and aerial-painting took shape in this Gulf, giving way to a rich and prolific artistic and architectural production – still present today on many façades and decorations.
The private and public buildings constructed in that period are many and have radically transformed ever since the appearances of this city.
