Caracciolo's shop window
In 1923, the new jewelry shop Caracciolo opened up thanks to a project by Vincenzo Bacigalupi, who was also a skilled interior designer. The decorations in the wainscoting of the shop window were now more geometric and volumes were emphasized by a play of decorations inspired by the Art Deco style. The wooden part was made in pitch-pine, extremely resistant to atmospheric conditions and very fashionable at that time.
