Levanto

Enclosed between two strips of land and directly facing the sea, Levanto, thanks to its prime location, is considered the entrance gate to the 5 Terre National Park, to the Bays of the eastern Riviera, and to historical hinterland villages.

Levanto can be easily reached by train, car or on foot.

Levanto, a medieval village, cherishes picturesque corners and spots, most notably Via dei Forni, ancient street populated by shops and noble villas, the Monastero delle Clarisse (Monastery of the Poor Clares), and the trail connecting the sea to the Castle.

Today, Levanto is a popular destination for those who love doing sports thanks to its nature and crystal-blue sea. Part of its territory belongs to the 5 Terre Natural Park, and here there is also a protected marine area where whales and dolphins can be seen.
