Le Grazie circular tour

This circular route starts in Via Libertà at Le Grazie. You will start by climbing up a stairway named Via Carpena that ends onto Via Portovenere. You will then walk a short stretch of this road in direction of Portovenere. On the mount-side, you will see the indications for route 516 and you will start climbing up the short stairway and then the trail leading to the proximity of Forte del Muzzerone (Muzzerone Fort, at 300 m above sea level), touching route 517 and crossing the AVG/AV5T (Alta Via del Golfo/Alta Via delle 5 Terre, or High Route of the Gulf/High Route of the 5 Terre). 

Keep walking uphill along the paved road and take the first trail on the right, route 518, quickly descending towards the Chiesetta di Sant’Antonio (Saint Anthony’s Church, at 82 m above sea level), crossing the AVG and route 517. From the concrete water depot (at 139 m above sea level), you will walk on a paved road. Then, take the trail beside the church, on the left, and continue onto path 518C, leading towards an ancient Roman villa, the graveyard, and the promenade of Le Grazie. Once you have crossed Via Portovenere, you will be on Via Varignano Vecchio.
