Castrucci Palace

This building, commissioned by Bartolomeo Castrucci, was built from 1902 to 1905. The external stucco and molded-cement decorations are allegories of the four seasons, whereas the entrance decorations, fully restored, portray two mysterious priestesses, probably goddesses protecting the building. The ceiling is a glimpse of heaven where angels fly with butterfly-like wings depicted by the painter Luigi Agretti. The entrance keeps its unique iron and multicolored glass gate made by the Guidotti firm on a project of Bacigalupi.
